Speed Boat Extreme Racing is a boat-driving game with two ways to play: Free Drive and Racing. You can play alone or share a session with a second player, and each mode lets you steer a fast boat using keyboard controls. Speed Boat Extreme Racing modes
The game offers two modes with different purposes. Free Drive is for steering your boat and trying stunts without focusing on a race. It can be a useful place to get familiar with the movement keys and camera controls before competing.
Racing is the competition-focused option. If you are new to the controls, spend a moment learning how steering and nitro work before choosing this mode. The game supports both single-player and two-player play, so you can choose a solo session or play alongside another person.
Single-player controls
In single-player mode, use the following keys:
- W, A, S, D or the arrow keys: Move the boat.
- F: Activate nitro.
- R: Restart.
- T: Look behind.
- C: Change the camera angle.
Choose either WASD or the arrow keys for movement, whichever feels more comfortable. Use the look-behind key when you need to check what is behind your boat, and switch camera angles if another view makes steering easier.
Two-player controls
In a two-player session, each player has a separate control set. Keeping the controls clear can make it easier to play together on the same keyboard.
Player 1
- W, A, S, D: Move.
- F: Activate nitro.
- R: Restart.
- T: Look behind.
- C: Change the camera angle.
Player 2
- Arrow keys: Move.
- K: Activate nitro.
- O: Restart.
- L: Look behind.
- P: Change the camera angle.
Player 1 uses WASD, while Player 2 steers with the arrow keys. Each player also has a different key for nitro, restarting, looking behind, and changing the camera. Check the key assignments before starting so both players can react without confusion.

For a straightforward first session, try Free Drive and test the movement keys, camera, and nitro. Once the controls feel familiar, switch to Racing if you want to take part in a competition.
